An explosive tale of double cross and revenge, "The Losers" centers
upon the members of an elite U.S. Special Forces unit sent into the
Bolivian jungle on a search and destroy mission. The team--Clay,
Jensen, Roque, Pooch and Cougar--find themselves the target of a
lethal betrayal instigated from inside by a powerful enemy known
only as Max. Presumed dead, the group makes plans to even the score
when they're joined by the mysterious Aisha, a beautiful operative
with her own agenda. Working together, they must remain deep
undercover while tracking the heavily-guarded Max, a ruthless man
bent on embroiling the world in a new high-tech global war.
Zoe Saldana looks good despite being 90 pounds. Eat some bacon
girl! If the trailer is any indication of what the movie is
actually like, it should be a fun and entertaining action flick
with lots of kills and explosions. It's easy to draw comparisons to
The A-Team, but both are based on different source material. "After
being betrayed and left for dead, members of a CIA black ops team
root out those who targeted them for assassination" (The Losers)
VS. "A group of Iraq War veterans looks to clear their name with
the U.S. military, who suspect the four men of committing a crime
for which they were framed" (The A-Team).

Above is a new cast promo pic courtesy of the
LA Times. That's quite an interesting angle.
There's lots of praise for Zoe Saldana throughout the article.
Producer Joel Silver said that Zoe is "sensational whether she's
blue or not." Director Sylvain White said "she is incredible in
this film and she had already shown that she can really handle the
drama, and with this she shows how great she is with the intense
action stuff and there's a great balance that she brings. Her
character brings a lot of the controversy to the plot and drama to
the plot, but at the same time she is the savior. She is probably
the hardest fighter of them all too. Instead of the damsel in
distress, she's the one that gives the call to action. She's the
one that gives them the opportunity to redeem themselves."
