I'm hoping Sandra Bullock wins for The Blind Side, but the Academy
does love Meryl Streep. I just thought the only great thing about
Julie & Julia was Meryl Streep, the rest was fairly
forgettable. I'm also hoping The Hurt Locker beats out Avatar for
Best Picture. I thought Avatar was an extremely entertaining film,
but it suffered from a simple story, weak dialogue, so-so acting
(with the exception of Zoe Saldana), and no character development.
