Zack and Deborah Snyder's production company Cruel Films has
released a new image from their new film SUCKER PUNCH. The film
takes place in the 1950s and follows a girl who is confined to
amental institution by her stepfather, who intends to have her
lobotomized in five days. While there, she imagines an alternative
reality to hide her from the pain, and in that world, she begins
planning her escape, needing to steal five objects to help get her
out before she is deflowered by a vile man. I loved the trailer
(included below) and this has to be one of my most anticipated
movies of 2011.
The film stars Emily Browning, Abbie Cornish, Vanessa Hudgens,
Jamie Chung, Jena Malone, Carla Gugino, Jon Hamm, Scott Glenn, and
Oscar Isaac. Sucker Punch hits theaters on March 25th 2011 .
