So I randomly see this magazine sitting on my kitchen table and
Jason Reitman is on the cover. It's Driven Magazine and the issue
is titled "Everything's Up in the Air: Jason Reitman". In the
article he defends Megan Fox, talks about his first experience at
the Toronto International Film Festival in 2005 where he debuted
his first feature film "Thank You for Smoking". On that experience
he said, "that was the moment I became a 'director'- kind-of". This
year at TIFF he is debuting three films: Jennifer's Body, Chloe,
and Up in the Air. He served as a producer on the first two films
and directed Up in the Air starring George Clooney.
On Megan Fox: "She's
really fuckin' funny. Funny the
way Rachel McAdams was in
Mean Girls. "I've seen auditions
of people trying to do Diablo's dialogue and it's like falling off
a cliff- it's
tough dialogue. Megan just nails it. She's
mean and funny and dangerous and sexy and everything you could want
from her in this."
On George Clooney: "One of the greatest actors living today.
I'd always wanted to work with him. And he had exactly the amount
of intelligence and charm to pull off this very tricky
character."
