Here is the first poster for the sci-fi thriller SKYLINE. Strange
lights descend on the city of Los Angeles, drawing people outside
like moths to a flame where an extraterrestrial force threatens to
swallow the entire human population off the face of the Earth.
Sounds great. The film stars Donald Faison, Eric Balfour, Kate
Mara, David Zayas, Scottie Thompson, and Brittany Daniel. Skyline
was directed by Colin & Greg Strause, the geniuses behind AVPR:
Aliens vs Predator - Requiem. All kidding aside, their company
Hydraulx provided visual effects for a number of huge films
including 300 and Avatar. I love the aesthetics in Skyline and the
effects look incredible for a film with a relatively small budget.
Hydraulx also provided the effects for Battle: Los Angeles, another
alien invasion flick set in LA scheduled to be released next year.
There's no such thing as too many sci-fi's. Check out the trailer
