10. ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER
President by day, vampire hunter by night. It's great lenticular poster that has fun with its premise.

9. YOUNG ADULT
Even Ace Ventura himself would admire the attention to detail that went into creating this poster.

8. RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES
A slight revision to the Evolution Timeline makes for a descriptive and impressive poster.

7. THE CABIN IN THE WOODS
More like The Rubik's Cube in the Woods. Despite a cringeworthy tagline, this poster hints to Cabin in the Woods being much more than just your typical horror flick. Perhaps the only way out of the cabin is by memorizing a set of algorithms!

6. MAN ON A LEDGE
The poster for Man on a Ledge features a man ... on a ledge ... but kudos to any poster that gives me vertigo.

5. INSIDIOUS
A great throwback to horror films of the past.

4. UNCLE BOONMEE WHO CAN RECALL HIS PAST LIVES
Comic artist Chris Ware created this fantastically original and creative one-sheet for the Thai flick that won the Palme d'Or at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival.

3. MELANCHOLIA
At first glance it may seem like the poster for Melancholia features a pretty girl in a pretty wedding dress against a pretty background. Not only is Kirsten Dunst partially submerged in water, her body is also positioned like a corpse in a casket. Fittingly enough, the film is about the end of the world.

2. MIDNIGHT IN PARIS
I'm the furthest thing from an art snob, but this Starry Night inspired poster is both whimsical and beautiful.

1. ANOTHER EARTH
Before you yell out "this bitch is crazy" at your computer screen, stare at this poster for a good minute or two. The more I looked at it the more enthralled I was by it. The colors are gorgeous and the image itself is incredibly clean, effective and moody. From the Earthlight reflecting on the open water to the noticeable breeze brushing up against her hair and clothes, this poster is both detailed and downright stunning. Screw rainbows and sunsets, I want to see this view in person.
